ConnectHER is a national movement focused on advancing women in the skilled trades through community, mentorship, industry engagement, resource sharing, and collaboration. It brings together women in the trades, employers, educators, advocacy organizations, workforce development partners, and industry leaders who are committed to creating stronger and more inclusive pathways into the skilled trades.

No. While ConnectHER is focused on supporting women in the skilled trades, the movement welcomes employers, educators, mentors, industry leaders, advocates, allies, and organizations that share a commitment to creating more inclusive and supportive skilled trades environments.

Employers and industry partners can support ConnectHER by participating in industry engagement activities, sharing resources, promoting opportunities, contributing to research and surveys, supporting mentorship initiatives, and helping create inclusive workplace cultures that support women in the trades.

The survey is part of the national ConnectHER project, an initiative focused on improving recruitment, retention, and advancement opportunities for women in the skilled trades. It gathers insights directly from employers, organized labour, and other industry stakeholders from across Canada.
